Hi Mongo Team,

We are unable to start mongo db. It says ‘’ ERROR: child process failed, exited with 51"

We are using MongoDB shell version: 3.2.22

Error Logs:

Could you please help us to start mongo without any data loss.

I had the sam issue. I was using wsl2 and switched to wsl1 which resulted in the crush of the db server. Acording to Microsoft docs, MongoDB can be installed to the wsl2. My opinion is that it is because of the file-system.
