My application is deployed in us-east-1 and the Atlas server is also in us-east-1. I have setup VPC peering between AWS resource and Atlas and the application is able to connect to Atlas successfully.
The dev team is in India and I have put up a vpn server in ap-south-1 region. There is also a peered connection between us-east-1 and ap-south-1.
My understanding is that if the two regions are peered, I should be able to connect to Atlast from MongoDb compass once I connect to VPN. This however is not happening.
I even tried setting up a private endpoint in ap-south-1 and us-east-1, but that didn’t work either. Need help on alternatives / possible solutions.
