To report a bug, request a feature, or submit general feedback, follow the procedures on this page to open a ticket in the MongoDB for IntelliJ Plugin JIRA project.

To submit feedback and vote on issues, you must be logged in to a JIRA account.

1

To open a new ticket, click Create in the JIRA top navigation bar.

2

Open the Issue Type drop-down menu and select the appropriate issue type:

  • If you encounter a bug, select Bug.

  • If you have a new feature request, select New Feature.

3

In the Summary field, provide a brief summary of the bug or feature request.

4

In the Description field, you can provide more detailed information, including the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue.

5

In the Labels field, include the internal-preview label.

6

Logs can help navigate edge cases and diagnose issues in the IntelliJ Plugin. For more information, see Retrieve IntelliJ Logs.

7

Click Create to submit the ticket.

Under the People section on the right side of the JIRA ticket, you can vote for tickets. Issues with more votes are more likely to be prioritized by the MongoDB development team.
