VS Code not able to retrieve database and its collections

Hi Everyone,

Today, I tried accessing my collection from VS Code (Ubuntu) and when I connected to the project, there would be the standard databases: config, local, and admin. However, the database and its collections were not shown. I tried going to Atlas and Compass, and both were showing the database and the collection I want to make modifications to.

Have you guys experienced this recently? If so, what could be the issue?

May I suggest you update your extension to version v.0.11.1 to see if this will fix the issue for you.

I am having same problem. try reinstalling the extension too… but nothing is working

Works fine for me. Could you post some screen shots of what you’re seeing?

In the meantime:

• Make sure you’re actually using the “official” MongoDB VSCode extension. There are others out there!
