I have Github account with my college id (which is a outlook mail) as a primary id. I have gotten access to student developer pack and chose to get free MongoDB certification.
I am unable to signup for MongoDB account to continue my learning path. I have made my outlook mail public by checking off private option in Github, but issue still persists. I am posting this inquiry in this forum with the help of a MongoDB account created with another personal gmail. Look into the error and resolve the issue.

Are you trying to sign into MongoDB for Students (MongoDB Student Pack) or MongoDB University (learn.mongodb.com)? Be aware that these accounts are separate and can have separate email addresses.

Register for and complete a MongoDB University learning path
If the email addresses used for MongoDB University and MongoDB for Students (GitHub email address) are the same, your free certification voucher will be sent to you automatically upon completing a learning path
If the email addresses for MongoDB University and MongoDB for Students (GitHub email address) are different, sign into MongoDB for Students and follow the instructions on the post-login page to receive your free certification voucher

Problem : Unable to sign-up for MongoDB university, using Github account.
Solution : So, instead of singing up using github account, i should just use the mail id ( which is in my Github account ) to create a new MongoDB university account and I will be sent free voucher.
But the problem is, the mail id in my Github account is student mail id(which doesn’t end with ‘gmail.com’), it is not gmail. We can only create new MongoDB account using gmail.
Let’s say i have proceeded with my personal gmail id which is different from my Github’s one to finish learning path. Would you be kind enough to tell me which ‘post login page’ were you taking about ? On MongoDB students pack web page, I have seen some instructions to fill a google form incase someone has not recieved voucher after they finished learning path(look the attached picture). Are you talking about the same instructions. ?

You can absolutely create a MongoDB University account using your school email (unless your school has some sort of rule against that). You do not need to use a gmail account to create a MongoDB University account.
And yes! That form is precisely what I’m referring to. It is only available to those who are successfully logged into MongoDB for Students. So yes, if you have proceeded to signup for MongoDB University with a personal gmail account you would fill that form out after you complete a MongoDB University learning path.
Remember that regardless of whether or not you successfully create a MongoDB University account with your gmail email address or your GitHub email address, you must complete a MongoDB University learning path to receive the free certification voucher.
