Timeout at Serverless cluster

Hi, i have similar trouble like this:

Hi John, The behavior you are experiencing is unexpected. Serverless database should not behave differently in this the example you posted. I will be reaching out to you directly to further debug the issue. Sincerely, Serverless PM team

When the serverless database had more than 5 minutes idled, the connection lost and reconnect, and take’s 1 minute delay to start again.

At free cluster I didn’t have this situation.

This is definitely not expected… in fact one of the key architectural advantages of how Atlas serverless instances are built is to not have to deal with cold start issues. Would you mind opening a support case?

Seeing the same issue here when using Mongo Serverless Cluster. When running on Vercel using Next JS serverless functions (or in other words serverless nodejs function), we intermittently get timeout connection issues.

We have the problem here. We’re usign serverless cluster with node.js Express
