Syncing Non Serverless and Serverless Clusters

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to sync server less clusters with non-server less clusters? There’s no mentioning of it in the article. (Efficient Sync Solutions: Cluster-to-Cluster Sync and Live Migration to Atlas | MongoDB)

Hi there

Cluster-to-Cluster Sync is not available for Serverless clusters yet. What is the use case that you’re trying to fulfill? Are you trying to use your Serverless cluster as a source or a destination?

Device sync does not support serverless clusters. We recommend using a dedicated cluster or a shared-tier cluster.

The reason for this is that serverless clusters do not yet support change streams which is something device sync and triggers relies heavily on.
