Hello,
I have noticed that there are no new commits to the official mongo github repository (GitHub - mongodb/mongo: The MongoDB Database) since February 5 and no new tags or releases, while there are newer versions available to download (Download MongoDB Community Server | MongoDB). Is this project no longer open source? Where can we get the latest source code?
I do build my executable from source code and I would like to get the latest version available.
I second this. No commits since February? It’s source (un)-available model now? This has been the second time. Previously, in Q4 last year.
Hey @Francisco_Fabian_Gonzalez and @Radoslaw_Szulgo
The code synchronization between our internal development branches and public repository was impaired due to modifications needed in our branching strategy. We disabled the synchronization while completing these changes, which took longer than anticipated. However, we have now restored it and apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may have caused. MongoDB remains fully committed to open source and to providing the community with dependable access to our software and services. We are exploring internal controls so that this doesn’t happen in the future.
We have restored the synchronization, and the latest code updates are now available via GitHub. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
