London MUG is excited to announce its next meetup on June 29th at Google Cloud Office. The meetup will feature two engaging presentations, fun tech games, pizzas, and the opportunity to win some exciting swag and free passes to MongoDB .local!
The event will begin with an introduction from Svitlana Gavrylova, the Data Management Practice Lead for UKI, discussing how MongoDB and Google Cloud collaborate to create even better solutions for your next big project.
The introduction will be followed by two sessions. The first session by Sam Brown will focus on Data Localisation in MongoDB, which is a crucial aspect of data management in today’s global business landscape. Sam will discuss how you can use scale MongoDB globally and still provide localized access for either performance or data residency concerns.
In the next session, Thomas Chamberlain, a Software Engineer at DWP, will discuss the process of creating a job search engine microservice at DWP. This involved developing a new set of microservices using NextJs, Spring, and MongoDB to build a platform for claimants on Universal Credit. The presentation will highlight the effective approaches used in building a continuous deployment pipeline.
We invite you to join us for an evening filled with learning and networking!
With MongoDB.local London a few weeks after the event, we will be awarding some free passes at the event. You could also register right now with coupon code MUG50 and stack it with Sani10 to get 60% off.
