Tate Jones
Tate is a Senior Software Engineer at Queensland Health (Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service) and will be presenting on the usage of MongoDB in the health sector. The focus will be on explaining why, when, and how MongoDB is preferred over traditional RDBMS to develop highly configurable, low-maintenance solutions, with an emphasis on performance.

Thiago is a Tech Lead at the Australian Retirement Trust and is passionate about MongoDB. They left 15 years of working with traditional RDBMS and moved to MongoDB for the last 9 years.

Tomas is an Advisory Solutions Architect at MongoDB. Tomas will be presenting about MongoDB’s Chatbot framework, which makes it easy to build full-stack intelligent chatbot applications leveraging RAG, vector search and LLMs.
