The MongoDB Go Driver Team is pleased to release version 1.17.2 of the MongoDB Go Driver .
This release fixes bugs related to pointer instantiation and resource leaks, and it also reintroduces the experimental ReadCompressedCompressedMessage() function for user convenience. For more information please see the 1.17.2 release notes .
