as the title says, is this project being worked on? I see some good pull requests and issues about features but nothing has been merged or committed in the last months. I find this library really useful (and much better performance-wise than mongoengine).

Thank you for reaching out! Our Python team has been focused for the last few months on server version 4.4 feature support in our official driver, as well as some upcoming integrations that we’re really excited about. Unfortunately, I don’t think that this is going to change for us in the near term, and we are looking for community members who might be interested in taking a more active role in contributing to pymodm.
