As a developer, I find TypeScript immensely helpful for catching errors early and improving code quality. Are there any upcoming plans to support TypeScript in Mongo Atlas functions? Furthermore, having a visual editor or perhaps an extension that allows us to work on these functions locally would greatly enhance the development experience. This would be much more convenient than following various articles and tutorials to set up our local environments.

Hello!
Currently, MongoDB Atlas functions don’t support GridFS, and handling large files typically relies on external services like Amazon S3. While TypeScript support and enhanced testing capabilities are highly requested, they aren’t officially available yet. Similarly, a visual editor or local development support for Atlas functions is also something developers are eager for, but there’s no official announcement on these features so far.
