Dev Ittycheria, President & CEO
Dev is the CEO of MongoDB. Under Dev’s leadership, MongoDB has grown its business faster and delivered better financial performance than any comparable company in its sector. Dev is also on the board of Datadog. Previously, Dev was Managing Director at OpenView Venture Partners and Venture Partner at Greylock Partners. Earlier, Dev was the Co-founder & CEO of BladeLogic. BladeLogic went public in 2007 and then was acquired by BMC for nearly $1B. Following the acquisition, he served as President of BMC. Dev founded his first technology company in 1998, and his leadership and board roles have resulted in 5 IPOs and 3 significant acquisitions. Dev graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, was honored with the Medal of Excellence and was recognized by the School of Engineering as its 2010 Alumnus of the Year.
Cedric Pech, Chief Revenue Officer
Cedric is the Chief Revenue Officer of MongoDB. Since joining, Cedric has rapidly scaled MongoDB’s go to market (GTM) team, expanded into new global markets, and transformed its business into a consumption-driven GTM model. In his time as Chief Revenue Officer, Cedric has more than tripled MongoDB’s ARR. Prior to MongoDB, he was Senior VP of Worldwide Sales at Fuze, a cloud communications and collaboration platform, and has also held VP and GM roles for publicly-traded software companies BladeLogic, BMC Software, and BazaarVoice. Cedric completed his Class Préparatoire at Lycée Bois Fleury Grenoble and received his M.B.A. from Montpellier Business School.
Harsha Jalihal, Chief People Officer
Harsha Jalihal is the Chief People Officer of MongoDB. Under her leadership, MongoDB has more than doubled its workforce across dozens of countries and was recognized as a Most-Loved Workplace by Newsweek’s Excellence Index 2024. Previously Harsha was Vice President of HR at Unilever, where she was responsible for end-to-end HR strategy and operations for their U.S. business, co-created Unilever’s future of work strategy, and worked on a part-time secondment to the World Economic Forum where she contributed to their thought leadership on the future of work. Prior to this, she spent 10 years at Cognizant in various HR and business roles, laying the early foundations of their talent acquisition, talent management, reward management, M&A and employee relations practices. Harsha was recognized as Crain's New York Notable Women of Talent for 2020.
Jim Scharf, Chief Technology Officer
Jim is the Chief Technology Officer of MongoDB. He leads the company’s global engineering organization, driving product development and engineering strategy for MongoDB’s products and services. Jim comes to MongoDB with over 17 years of experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As one of AWS’s first employees, he was the founding owner of six services, served as General Manager of the Amazon DynamoDB and AWS Identity businesses, and was most recently Vice President of AWS Identity. While there, Jim was an author on 20 foundational U.S. patents in the area of cloud computing. Previously, he worked in numerous software engineering and technology consulting roles. He holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Rutgers University.
Michael Gordon, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Michael is the COO & CFO of MongoDB. Under his leadership, MongoDB has scaled its operations from millions in revenue and hundreds of employees at the time of the IPO in 2017 to billions in revenue and thousands of employees at a rate far outpacing market growth. Michael sits on the boards of UiPath, a public enterprise automation software company, and Share Our Strength, one of the nation’s leading anti-hunger organizations. He is also a member of the CNBC Global CFO Council and the Tech:NYC Leadership Council. Previously, Michael served as COO & CFO of Yodle and was a Managing Director in the Media and Telecom investment banking group at Merrill Lynch. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Peder Ulander, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer
Peder Ulander is the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer of MongoDB, where he leads an organization that ensures customers and community members across the globe are engaged and connected with MongoDB’s developer data platform and solutions. Prior to MongoDB, Peder served as Director of Enterprise and Developer Solutions Marketing at Amazon Web Services and was responsible for significant revenue-driving go-to-market initiatives and leading Amazon’s open source marketing and community engagement programs. Peder has also held executive positions at global enterprises including Sun Microsystems, Citrix, and Cisco. Peder was behind the launch of the cloud.com brand, where he was an early player in bringing cloud computing into the mainstream. Peder's extensive leadership career is the byproduct of his curiosity and passion for building strong product and marketing strategies at the leading edge of the innovation curve.
Sahir Azam, Chief Product Officer
Sahir is the Chief Product Officer at MongoDB. He has been with MongoDB since 2016, where he launched the industry’s first developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, and scaled the company’s thriving cloud business from the ground up. He also serves on the boards of Temporal and Observe, Inc, a cloud data observability startup. Sahir joined MongoDB from Sumo Logic, where he managed platform, pricing, packaging and technology partnerships. Before Sumo Logic, he launched VMware's first organically developed SaaS management product and grew their management tools business to $1B+ in revenue. Earlier in his career, Sahir also held technical and sales-focused roles at DynamicOps, BMC Software, and BladeLogic.
Alan Chhabra, EVP of Worldwide Partners
Alan Chhabra is the EVP of Worldwide Partners at MongoDB. Under Alan’s leadership, MongoDB’s partner ecosystem has scaled massively and partners now touch over 80% of MongoDB’s new business. Alan has also run the direct sales teams for US Public Sector, APAC, and ISVs over the years at MongoDB. Before joining MongoDB in 2015, Alan was responsible for Worldwide Cloud & Data Center Automation Sales at BMC Software, where he managed a $200 million annual revenue business unit that served over 1,000 customers. Alan has also held senior sales, services, engineering & IT positions at cloud services pioneer Egenera, Ernst & Young consulting, and the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. Alan is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his MEng in Aerospace Engineering.
Andrew Stephens, General Counsel
Andrew is the General Counsel of MongoDB. Since 2013, he has shepherded the company through major go-to-market and commercial transformations, multiple acquisitions, and a successful IPO. Andrew is one of the longest serving leaders at MongoDB and has helped lead the Company through its rapid evolution from startup to member of the NASDAQ 100. Prior to MongoDB, Andrew was the Managing Counsel at LinkedIn where he focused on technology transactions, strategic partnerships, and revenue generating contracts. He was LinkedIn’s second lawyer hired and guided the company through its hyper-growth phase and IPO. Earlier, Andrew served as Assistant General Counsel at Logitech, where he joined after advising the company as outside counsel while working at Wilson Sonsini. Andrew started his legal career at Lawson Lundell in Vancouver, Canada after receiving his L.L.B. from Dalhousie University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
Mindy Lieberman, Chief Information Officer
Mindy is the Chief Information Officer of MongoDB, where she is responsible for business system delivery, data engineering and analytics, corporate infrastructure, collaboration tools, and IT Operations. Prior to MongoDB, Mindy served on the IT Executive teams at Peloton, Okta, Zendesk and Salesforce, where she built out the teams and business system infrastructure to support a wide array of business units. Earlier on, Mindy gained product development and operations experience at several technology startups, and even had a stint performing public sector scientific computer research. Mindy is known for building talented, collaborative teams and prides herself on her people-first approach to leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The Cooper Union and a Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, both in Mechanical Engineering.
Ronnen Miller, EVP, Global Technical Services
Ronnen joined MongoDB with over a decade of post-sales services experience. He is responsible for Technical Services at MongoDB, encompassing technical support and proactive services. Previously, Ronnen was the Head of Customer Integrations at BloomReach, a big data e-commerce marketing software company, where he was responsible for handling customer integration and support globally. Prior, Ronnen was the Director of the Performance Engineering team and Director of Global Support at MarkLogic. He has also held professional services roles at Versatile Systems and Computer Sciences Corporation. Ronnen received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
