Add a Shard to a MongoDB Cluster
You can use Ops Manager to add a shard to a MongoDB sharded cluster.
Navigate to the Clusters view for your deployment.
If it is not already displayed, select the organization that contains your desired project from the Organizations menu in the navigation bar.
If it is not already displayed, select your desired project from the Projects menu in the navigation bar.
If it is not already displayed, click Deployment in the sidebar.
Click the Clusters view.
Review and update settings for the new shard as needed:

Hostname | Select from the menu the host to which Ops Manager Automation deploys the replica set member. The menu only lists hosts under Ops Manager Automation.
