Want Migrate my database from shared to serverless

I want to migrate my shared database to a serverless instance in MongoDB Atlas. I have already purchased the serverless instance and successfully imported all my data tables. However, I am facing issues when connecting it to my application. Many MongoDB methods are not supported in the serverless environment.

Could anyone help me and suggest the easiest way to resolve this issue?

Which shared database are you currently on (M0, M2 or M5)?

And what MongoDB methods are your referring to that are not supported in the serverless environment?

Hi @Anurag_Kadasne,

I am currently using M2 (General).

I also have a serverless database, but when I try to connect my application to the serverless database by updating the connection string, it doesn’t connect. A few months ago, I was able to connect successfully using the connection string, but at that time, several methods, such as the find method, were not executing or working correctly.

Is there a way to handle this transition smoothly? I really want to move my database from shared to serverless due to the data size restrictions in the shared database.
