Start MongoDB server and connect to it using command line tools (only mongod.exe and mongos.exe for windows)

I have downloaded a .zip folder called mongodb-win32-x86_64-windows-6.0.5\bin and inside of it, I have mongod.exe and mongos.exe
My aim to work with mongodb from the command line.
I want to start the mongod server and then make queries with mongosh.exe
However, when I type mongod.exe in the windows terminal, I get the following output (It tells me nothing).

I don’t know wheter that means that I actually managed to start a server and that it is listening now on port 27017

When I start another terminal and launch
mongos “mongodb://localhost:27017”
I get the error
Error parsing command line: too many positional options have been specified on the command line
try ‘mongos --help’ for more information

If so, how can I connect to that server now with mongosh.exe.
As already mentioned, I only want to use command line tools and don’t find the right tutorial for some reason.

if you had try mongosh, it would have work

I just tried to run the command mongosh “mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017” from my windows terminal. The error is the following: C:\Users\imelf\Documents\floriloveslanguagesserver>mongosh “mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017”
