As of now, Atlas Vector Search is supported on Atlas clusters running MongoDB version 6.0.11, 7.0.2, or later.

That said, if you have a requirement for a Local Development solution you can use our MongoDB Atlas CLI to deploy something locally, but this is exclusively for development and testing purposes.
