MongoDB Atlas Dashboad does not show Data API in Left Pan

Hi All,

Greetings! I am new to MongoDB and learning to use MongoDB Atlas with AWS. For some reason, the dashboard does not show ‘Data API’ in the left navigation pan. I have attached the screenshot.

Hi @Swami_Anurag

Data Api has been deprecated and will be removed September 30 2025, there may not be much point in learning this item now. I’m not sure if that is why the UI component is missing or not.

If you are still interested in using Data API I found if Triggers and the Get Started button on the triggers page are used, without creating a trigger, then refresh the browser page the Data Api item will appear on the side bar.

I have added the screenshot I have created the trigger and refreshed the page multiple time.

If you don’t see Data API in the Atlas sidebar, it usually means your project isn’t in a supported region or you haven’t enabled the Data API feature yet. Go to Project Settings → Data API and make sure it’s turned on (and that your cluster’s region supports it). Once enabled, the Data API link will appear in the left‑hand navigation.

There Is not option for enabling the Data API in project settings ?? Is Data API is not available for India or there is some other reason as the Data API is depreciated.

Is it something due to the closer end-of-life date for “Data API” , This Data API option is no longer available under the service section.
Can you pls confirm?

in newly created projects created after Sept 2024 Data API won’t be available.

Projects which were created after September, 2024, this Data API option is not available under them.
