Hello everyone! I am Sue and I am located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. I am currently an EDI Integration Analyst for a company called enVista and I’m on the Enspire Commerce team.

I have a background in Technical & Business Operations Analysis in the telecommunications world. I have never used a NoSQL database so this is new for me. It’s quite different from SQL database.

Best of luck to everyone!

Regards,
Sue

Fellow-Dutchy spotted!

Tess here, also from the Netherlands… Linux and security-nerd for hire, consulting for various projects and customers. The past year has been spent on building a PKI, password management and a central logging platform. It’s the latter that brought me to learn MongoDB, as it’s one of the underlying databases to Graylog, the product I’m working with.

Hi! I am Steve from the UK. I am 59 years old. I got into MongoDB through the freecodecamp course for learning web development. I am learning SQL and MongoDB at the same type. Enjoying it but it is a lot of work… I am hoping to produce a website and get paid for it soon. Cheers!

Hi everyone. Tim here from SoCal. MongoDB appears to be awesome. Hope we all learn a bunch. I use a chromebook and was able to get Compass running on it. If you need any help with that, drop me a line.

I will email you instructions later. Have you installed crouton? You’ll need to install that first.
