Could you confirm if you have performed the needed steps to whitelist the IPs in your Atlas cluster.
You can follow the procedure to Add Your Connection IP Address to Your IP Access List and let us know if the issue still persists.
If after performing the above steps you are sill seeing the similar error, could you help us with the following information:

The Atlas Tier you are on
Steps which you have followed which made you land on the above error message.
Are you using a VPN servers?
The client (failing to connect) environment details (e.g. Driver, Driver version, MongoDB Compass, Operating system details).
The results of the network tests as mentioned in the following post (but for your own cluster) from the client attempting to connect.

In general it is preferable to start a new discussion to keep the details of different environments/questions separate and improve visibility of new discussions. That will also allow you to mark your topic as “Solved” when you resolve any outstanding questions.

Mentioning the url of an existing discussion on the forum will automatically create links between related discussions for other users to follow.

@Aasawari I am trying to connect the atlas cluster from my local machine using mongosh; I already whitelisted my IP a day back yet when I tried to fetch data from same connected session it first gave me similar error and when I disconnected and trying to re-connect it gave same error which says ‘It looks like this is a MongoDB Atlas cluster. Please ensure that your Network Access List allows connections from your IP.’. Must I everytime do this IP whitelisting process ?

I am having exactly the same problem. My IP is whitelisted, I allowed access from all IPs 0.0.0.0, but still I am getting an error
