Encryption in transit (TLS), yes.

Encryption at rest, no, this is only supported by Enterprise Edition. You can encrypt with OS/Filesystem tools though.

In-Use Encryption for Queryable Encryption and Client Side Field Level Encryption are also available but Automatic Encryption is an Enterprise Edition feature.

All these are described in the manual under encryption in the Security section.

You can run MongoDB Enterprise for free for non-production use.

Alternatively, you can use Percona Server for MongoDB that supports at rest encryption. for free. More details: Data at rest encryption - Percona Server for MongoDB 7.0

Which kind of encryption are we talking about, if I may ask? All forms are available in community with the exception of automatic for QE and CSFLE.

The topic from October 2023 did not specify.

And no not all forms are supported by community edition, community does not support encryption at rest, that is an Enterprise Advanced feature only.
